About us

PwC is present in Portugal for over 60 years.

PwC Portugal has more than 70 partners and more than 2,500 permanent employees across offices in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Funchal, Luanda, Praia, and Maputo.

The vast majority of professionals have a degree in business management, finance, economics, accounting, law, engineering or social sciences, all of whom are given the opportunity to complement their academic training, in addition to often receiving specific professional training.

The PwC Portugal network comprises the following entities:

Firms present in Angola, Cape Verde and Mozambique also form part of the structure of PwC Portugal.

PricewaterhouseCoopers /AG – Assessoria de Gestão, Lda., holds a stake in the share capital of the following entities:​

- PwC Digital Technology Consulting, Lda., whose business is focused on technology consultancy
- PwC Services Portugal, Lda., which provides support services to companies and other organisations
- PricewaterhouseCoopers II Business Services, Lda., which provides consultancy services in the field of information technology​ and computing

These entities are not considered an integral part​ of the PwC Portugal network, as their share capital is held in equal parts by two member firms​ of the PwC network, PricewaterhouseCoopers /AG – Assessoria de Gestão, Lda, and:​

- PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (a company incorporated under German law), in the case of PwC Digital Technology Consulting, Lda.
- PricewaterhouseCoopers, Société coopérative (a company incorporated under Luxembourg law), in the case of PwC Services Portugal, Lda.​
- PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (a company incorporated under Swiss law), in the case of PricewaterhouseCoopers II Business Services, Lda.

In Portugal, António Brochado Correia, Territory Senior Partner, assumes leadership of the Territory Leadership Team, which also includes João Ramos, Rosa Areias, Luís Boquinhas, Paulo Ribeiro, Luís Filipe Barbosa and Pedro Deus.
