Beatriz is a Crypto Project Manager in the Tokenisation and Digital Assets area and a Senior Tax Consultant in Financial Services at PwC. She leads innovative tokenisation and digital assets projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring technical rigor across regulatory, legal, tax and accounting dimensions. Since joining PwC in 2022, she has been developing her experience in banking sector taxation, with a focus on Stamp Duty, Corporate Income Tax, tax litigation and restructurings, complemented by a growing specialisation in payments and cryptoassets taxation, supporting financial institutions in addressing the most innovative market challenges.

Professional Experience
Beatriz began her professional career at EY in tax advisory, with a focus on the financial sector. Alongside her consulting activity, she has developed a strong academic and training profile, acting as a Guest Assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and as a trainer and guest lecturer in taxation and cryptoassets, regularly collaborating with APOTEC and speaking at specialised seminars and conferences. She is the coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Web3, Blockchain and Cryptoassets at Coimbra Business School | ISCAC and the author of several articles published in collective works and leading technical journals.
