Since October 2017, Francisco has led PwC Portugal’s Credit Risk Transformation Unit, delivering national and international projects focused on credit risk management and measurement. His experience includes the development of solutions and tools across early warning systems (EWS), credit risk frameworks, business lending, financial projections, IRB modelling, and CRR3 implementation. He also plays a key role in the EBA/SSM Office workstream on credit risk transformation.

Profissional background
Francisco brings over 14 years of professional experience divided between the national (SSM bank working as credit risk analyst specialist in the Project finance and Large Corporate segments) and international banking sector (European Investment Bank), as well as the Ministry of Finance of the Portuguese Republic. This background has provided him with a strong and transversal understanding of the financial sector, with particular expertise in corporate and business lending.
