She develops her activity at the Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution Law department. Her legal practice focuses mainly on Tax Litigation, monitoring tax disputes in the administrative, judicial and arbitration phases.
Among others matters, she also monitors tax inspection procedures and administrative tax appeals, as well as enforcement proceedings and judicial tax challenges, requests for arbitral rulings, and administrative actions in tax matters.

Professional background
Before joining PwC Legal, between 2023 and 2025, Margarida Brites Gameiro was a Tax Consultant at the Indirect Tax Department of KPMG.
She was part of the Legal Department of Haitong Bank as a Legal Counsel between 2022 and 2023 and completed a summer internship at Abreu Advogados in 2021, in the Private Clients practice area.
