Personal Income Tax (IRS) withholding tax tables applicable in the Autonomous Region of Azores – November 2026

The Order No. 12610-A/2026 of the Minister of State and Finance, has been published in the Official Gazette. It approves the adjustments to the Personal Income Tax (PIT) withholding tax tables that apply to employment income and pensions earned in November 2026 by residents in the Autonomous Region of Azores. 

In detail

Under the published Order, PIT witholding tax will be reduced by 50% in November. Taxpayers whose monthly income exceeds the upper limit of the penultimate bracket are excluded from the reduction. The reduction also applies to the Christmas bonus, if paid in November.
