Despite having a degree in Law and having started my journey as a lawyer, I quickly realized that this was not “my path”. Life has shown me that the most unlikely opportunities arise unexpectedly and that sometimes it is necessary to take risks. I accepted the challenge of starting to work at a company in the area of public incentives and it didn't take me long to realize that this was exactly what I imagined myself doing in the future.
For 8 years I had the opportunity to work with the most diverse public financing instruments, at national and European level, I did training, I developed skills, always with the aim of eventually getting into a “big company”. It happened in 2017! Through a friend's recommendation, I had the opportunity to join PwC's Global Incentives Solutions (GIS) team.
It was at GIS that I really felt, and feel, the encouragement, support and confidence needed to grow. The possibility of working with the most diverse companies, in the most varied sectors, addressing different types of incentives and getting to know new realities, means that the day-to-day is never monotonous. To this, I add the privilege of working with a multifaceted team, increasingly cohesive. In reality, in a markedly competitive context, team spirit, unity and focus on a common objective are fundamental criteria for achieving good results and creating an environment in which everyone feels motivated.
Over these 7 years, the challenges were countless and forced me to leave my comfort zone, sometimes with an extra dose of adrenaline. However, they also allowed me to evolve and become a better professional. I believe there is still a long way to go, with new experiences, always in a continuous process of personal and professional growth. But it is also this path that motivates me to work, always with the same enthusiasm.
