Jorge Laires

Jorge Laires is a Tax Director at PwC in the Financial Services area.
He has extensive experience in tax matters concerning the banking, financial and insurance sector, as well as in the area of taxation of asset management, including structuring operations for the acquisition of real estate, non-performing loans and securitization operations.
He participates as a speaker in several courses, seminars and conferences in Portugal and Cabo Verde, and is also a trainer of PwC’s Academy on tax matters.
He is co-author of “Código do Imposto do Selo, anotado e comentado” (Alda Editores) and “Imposto do Selo nas Operações Financeiras e de Garantia” (Almedina). He publishes several articles in newspapers and magazines.
He is an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Center (CAAD).
