Professional background
Before joining PwC Legal, she was a Senior Associate at Garrigues between 2018 and 2023, in the Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions team.
She started her professional practice in Brazil, in 2003, as a trainee at Barbosa Müssnich Aragão – BMA Advogados, where she stayed until 2008 as an associate lawyer. She then returned to BMA in 2011 and stayed until 2017 as a Senior Associate. From 2008 to 2010, Rafaela worked as an in-house counsel at private equity firm Artesia Asset Management, in São Paulo, Brasil.
