PIT – Withholding tax rates applicable in Mainland Portugal in 2026

Order No. 233-A/2026, dated 6 January, issued by the Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs, has been published. It approves the withholding tax tables for Personal Income Tax (PIT) to be applied during the year 2026, relating to employment income and pensions earned by tax residents in mainland Portugal.
